Services

10:30am

The morning services provide us as a church with an opportunity to come together to worship, learn and share in fellowship with each other. With the help of a talented music group, we are able to worship in a style that suits a modern-day, all-age
congregation. We believe God is central to worship and we seek to make Him central in all aspects of our service.

On the 1st Sunday morning of each month, our service includes Communion.

On the 2nd Sunday morning of each month, we enjoy ˜Worship for the whole family". A service where we try to engage all ages together. A creche is available but we encourage you to come and go during the worship as seems appropriate for your child and as you feel comfortable with - we can cope with noisy children (and adults!).

For 2012 our church text is Habakkuk 3 vs 18 '...yet I will rejoice in the Lord. I will be joyful in God my Saviour.'

6:30pm

From September 2011 we have reorganised our Sunday evening meetings. The evenings are led by various members of the church and there are different approaches on the different Sundays of the month.

First Sunday

Sustain Fellowship Tea and informal service. Traditional feel. People are encouraged to bring their friends. An earlier start time: tea at 4.00pm and service at 5.00pm.

Second Sunday

Expresso Cafe-style church, held in the Welcome Area, with coffee and refreshments.

Third Sunday

Communion A service centred on the Lord’s Supper, using different styles, often reflective and possibly more sung worship and prayer.

Fourth Sunday

Equip Teaching series, possibly based on DVDs with worship and discussion.

Fifth Sunday

Healing Service Aimed more toward the aspect of healing ministry. At these services there will be more time available for the laying on of hands and prayer for restoration of both a physical and spiritual nature.

This will continue until Easter 2012.

At each of our services there is prayer ministry available for those who feel the need and the prompting of the Holy Spirit.

Junior Church & Creche

During the 10.30 am morning service, we provide a time for children to learn in a way that is relevant to them. We cater for a variety of ages, with groups for the specific needs of each age. The groups range from 0 - 15 years. For the security and safety of your child, we operate the Baptist Union "Safe to Grow" policy.
